- Hasselblad Zeiss CFi CFE C Lenses - www.hasselbladhistorical.eu
: Hasselblad Zeiss Sonnar CF 150mm F5.6, etc...
1. must be a richman,
2. I have used CF 50, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 250, all sold, only 250 left!
Since the production time is about 30yrs, the lens condition varies,
old CF uses Prontor shutter, newer CF uses modified Prontor shutter but without green name one the lens body.
According to Mr Zeiss said, forgot his name's spelling, please google at photo.net,
the lens after 1995, it meams, the lens' body print "Made in Germany" instead of Made in "West" Germany used before,
the coating process is the same as CFi or CFE and absorption paint material was improved, this is why I want to buy CFi.
The other method to date the lens production year is to check the serial no. in http://www.hasselbladhistorical.eu/
The solid AL made C lens is for collection purpose, some of them sucks for color slide!
Will sell them.
3. CFi CFE lenses are very robust and almost paint lostless, if your drop it on the concrete ground, and if the touch ground point is the lens filter ring, it will safe, the filter ring ic carbon fiber. Local hassy buyer did not like cfi, since it's very "plastic", they believe this is cost down method, so is the lens quality. I bought a 180 CFi in localt market at 30000NTD, and 50 CFi at 35000.
The other CFi 50 experience, I bought a Cfi 50 about two years ago, beautiful shape, but shutter was weak due to heavy work load, I sold it.
Although CFi shutter is improved to 100 thousands duty cycles, the CF is half of the figure.
So buy CFi lens in person is a good choice. If you are going to shopping, please take care of the 100 planar for me, it the price is below 1250usd, and lens is scratch and haze free (bring a maglite with you), and shutter is strong, don't mount on the camera, test the shutter by trigging the lens back's pin.
I only want 50, 100, 180.
